This position is available for remote/telecommuting candidates; however, some travel to the Northern Virginia area may be required.     WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING IN THIS ROLE As a Senior Cloud Software Developer, the related tasks and duties involve: - Providing leadership to small teams in software development efforts. - Providing direction for problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation for systems. - Directly interfacing with customer working groups on development and integration issues. - Developing and preparing application documentation, gathering specific information related to the project and applicable technical material. - Creating and managing virtualized infrastructures via cloud APIs. - Deploying solutions within public clouds (i.e. AWS, Azure, O365, Google, etc.) - Building public/hybrid/private cloud solutions via APIs. - Developing custom APIs to allow customers to leverage solutions. - Leveraging serverless solutions such as AWS Lambda and Kubernetes to enhance operational capabilities. - Researching new technologies and solution offerings from cloud providers. - Working as part of an agile team to develop and deploy secure applications and networking capabilities across cloud providers. - Mentoring junior employees.
