    ABOUT THE ROLE

    Assistant Program Manager with experience supporting mission critical operations to provide program management and oversight to complex technical projects. You will work directly with the Program Manager to oversee project development from inception to completion and must demonstrate skills to manage complex multi-task InformationTechnology contracts and provide assistance across several functional areas. Work location is our Lorton, Virginia office.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

    • Interface with project technical and support staff to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
    • Create, track, update and manage project schedules, spend plans, customer and internal reports.
    • Collaborate with various stakeholders including corporate staff, technical managers, and team personnel , to help manage project tasks, deadline, deliverables, identify needed resources, and communicate status across the program.
    • Help manage cost, scope, schedule, and risk metrics for a program. 

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree (Technical major preferred)

    Clearance:

    • This position requires a security clearance, you must be eligible for up to Top Secret with SCI.

    Skills / Capabilities: 

    • Five (5) years’ experience in Information Technology Program Management. 
    • Experience working with varied contract types to include FFP, FFP-LOE, and CPFF.
    • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
    • Adaptable to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Self-directed and proactive; thinks beyond the immediate problem.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • PMP certification preferred
    • Experience using the Atlassian suite (JIRA and Confluence)
