    Security risks are everywhere and pose not only threats to our national defense, but financial systems and business infrastructure. Help the Department of Agriculture (USDA) realize one of their key objectives modernizing and securing their information technology infrastructure to support operations across the enterprise.  As a Trainer- Information Security Outreach with IOMAXIS you will be an integral member supporting the development, evolution and sustainment of the Information Security Outreach & Awareness Program to an effective and comprehensive Cyber security outreach program. Join us in a full-time capacity from Kansas City, Missouri.  This position becomes available upon contract award anticipated July 2018.  Interviewing now.


    In this role you will:

    • Analyze and evaluate all communities (e.g., research and Development, Budget and Finance, State and Private Forestry) to tailor security-related communication messages.
    • Develop and implement an outreach program to ensure continuous awareness of security related environmental conditions throughout the community. 
    • Develop, maintain, and execute a comprehensive security communications and training plan to expand cyber knowledge across the enterprise.
    • Support the cybersecurity stand-down on a quarterly basis.
    • Conduct cybersecurity virtual “road shows” on a monthly basis.
    • Support information security initiatives with communication planning and execution.
    • Maintain cybersecurity Web presence and update Web site with articles and information.
    • Include summary of efforts and metrics as part of the MPPR.




    • Minimum of two (2) years of direct, related experience
    • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
    • DoD Directive 8570.01M, Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II  Certification (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP)
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communications skills
    • Possess or be able to obtain a position of Public Trust clearance
