    Security risks are everywhere and pose not only threats to our national defense, but financial systems and business infrastructure. Help the Department of Agriculture (USDA) realize one of their key objectives modernizing and securing their information technology infrastructure to ensure they can meet the needs of their Programs and Agency.  As a Security Service Desk Analyst with IOMAXIS you will be an integral member supporting Information Security and Cyber-Related Customer Help Desk (CHD) Service Requests and Incident Support Operations. Join us in a full-time capacity from Kansas City, Missouri.  This position becomes available upon contract award anticipated July 2018.  Interviewing now.


    The tasks involved in this role support the Task Manager in CHD operations and key Cybersecurity Stakeholders:

    • Draft knowledge documents, obtain approval, and support publication of those documents
    • Support procedures for access to the CHD and IT Service Management (ITSM) tools (currently Remedy on Demand, and ServiceNow), assignment, and closing of tickets that involve cyber security engineering solutions
    • Conduct initial investigation of issues before assignment of the ticket
    • Assign and track tickets
    • Manage the workflow of the tickets and ensure that they get closed appropriately
    • Reassign tickets to proper ques if incorrectly assigned
    • Report weekly on Contractor activities
    • Support the development and distribution of bi-weekly reports on tickets, including CHD and ITSM tools ticket health
    • Attend CHD meetings




    • Minimum of two (2) years of direct, related experience
    • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
    • DoD Directive 8570.01M, Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II  Certification (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP)
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communications skills
    • Possess or be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
