ABOUT THE ROLE

IOMAXIS has an opening for a Graphics Specialist -Proposal Coordinator to join our growing team.  Primary focus is for an individual with experience developing creatives and content to support new business, communications, and related marketing efforts for the company as well as assist with the coordination and support for proposals.  This is a full-time position available now, located in our Lorton, Virginia office.  

 

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Develop relevant, accurate and compelling graphics for inclusion in response to customer Request for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Design and manage a corporate graphics library
  • Develop and maintain product sheets and brochures, ensuring current & accurate content
  • Help produce and distribute corporate announcements, user advisories, and press releases
  • Assist with updates to company website: copy, announcements, blog and software version updates
  • Help create and update technical content and documentation
  • Creative marketing and technical writing, including white papers, sales sheets, brochures and corporate resumes
  • Assist the coordination and response to customer Request for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Conduct competitor research and analysis
  • Support corporate business development initiatives

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Clearance:

  •  Must have or be able to obtain DOD, Secret, or higher as required

Skills / Capabilities:  

  • Proficient at creating presentation with PowerPoint with an eye for professional, aesthetically pleasing, and polished production.
  • Proficiency with full suite of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Visio, Adobe, PaintShop and/or other graphic development applications
  • 3 years supporting Federal government proposal initiatives, with marketing and copywriting experience
  • Ability to manage several projects concurrently.
  • Knowledge of GoToMeeting/Webinar or similar webinar platform
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new skills and adapt to business needs

NOTE: Successful candidate must provide graphics and writing samples and may be required to succesfully perform a technical editing exercise prior to offer.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Technical writing support experience
